"basis-deutsch A1" – Additional Practice Material

Find an apartment on the Internet, order your lunch in the "mensa" (cafeteria) or find a student job: The DUO course "basis-deutsch A1" is a practical help in everyday life – now with new exercises and additional practice material.

In the course "basis-deutsch A1" you will learn to understand simple texts and speak German. This means you have around 350 audio tracks and exercises with realistic situations. You can quickly check how well you are already expressing yourself with suggested answers and audio examples. In addition, your tutor will give you personal feedback.

The "basis-deutsch A1" course is now fully redesigned and updated. New features include basic grammar modules that prepare you for writing in chat and forum.

In the new type of exercise "Kotext" you can write texts with other learners: Plan a trip, write an application for an internship or give tips for recovery after illness.

We have also simplified the structure of "basis-deutsch A1" to help you navigate the course: Now at the beginning of each unit, you will find learning objectives, information about what the exercise involves and how long it will take to complete it.

Important vocabulary can be found at the end of each lesson under "Das ist neu" (What's New). Suggestions for further reading and learning are also there under "Info-Plus".
