Assessing your own proficiency regarding a language can often be difficult. Choosing the
right course in order to achieve maximum learning success is, however, very much dependent on correctly identifying your own level of skill.
In order to solve this problem, you may assess your knowledge of German using the
questionnaire provided below. It is based on the universal guidelines laid down by the Common European Framework of Reference concerning
languages (GEFR) and will allow you to assign your current
German skills to one of the following categories:

basic user (GEFR-Level A1 to A2) |

independent user (B1 to B2) |

proficient user (C1 to C2) |
You can also use this self-assessment questionnaire to regularly check your learning
progress. We recommend that you complete your first assessment before selecting a course. This will allow you to take a look at
your strengths and weaknesses, and select a matching course that will let you develop your skills most effectively.
