basis-deutsch A1 is a German course for beginners with no previous knowledge of the language. Currently universities or schools may use basic-deutsch A1 with a
DUO licence. basis-deutsch A1 has been conceived as a combination with class-room tuition using own rooms and teachers.
basis-deutsch A1 comprises:
Basic knowledge of German grammar and vocabulary; target level: A1/2

 		 Development of the four skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking

 		 Knowledge about German society, politics and geography including everyday matters
basis-deutsch A1 highlights:
basis-deutsch A1 can be used by educational institutions holding a
DUO licence.

 		 basis-deutsch A1 can be combined with about 80 % classroom tuition.

 		 Online components can be used in combination with a flexible teach yourself method.

 		 Students receive their own personally graded learning materials; institutions the relevant teacher's book.

 		 In the ideal situation institutions would have teachers and classrooms at their disposal.

 		 One teacher becomes the online tutor; DUO offers tutor training
